AlbertoFERNANDESAlbert sadly passed away on Thursday, 1st October 2026, at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

He was a loving and respected husband, father, grandfather, and a passionate educator at Vincent Thompson/ St Luke's High School.

Albert will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Albert's funeral will be held on Friday 30th October at Sacred Heart Church, 28 Grange Court Rd, Henleaze, Bristol BS9 4DR, at 11.15 am.

My absolute favourite teacher of all time. He really understood and cared for us ‘naughty’ ones who needed extra support sometimes.
What a lovely man. I used to bump into him frequently after leaving school, we’d always chat for years after.
I was only thinking about him this week, wondering how he is and how old he might be.

A true teacher and gentleman, I believe he was well loved at school.
